Xenicus offers a wide variety of services but these can be boiled down to three core areas:

Business Consulting Services – Xenicus provides leadership talent to help your management team in areas of Finance, Strategic Planning, Business Development, and Operations Management.  We engage with our clients on individual projects and/or serve a part-time permanent role in the organization, such as the CFO or VP of Business Development.  We work with companies at all stages of development, from early stage start-ups to long-established organizations.

Managed Services – Xenicus offers long-term management solutions for aspects of your business, so your management team and owners can focus on what you do best.  Frequently we will provide staffing and management for particular departments of your business, and often serve as the outsource supplier for some of these tasks and roles.  For instance, we serve as the Accounting / Finance department for many clients.  Our team provides all of the day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions for these clients as well as access to CFO quality executives when you need that level of guidance.  Whether managing your accounting or an aspect of your operation, we install organized, structured and documented workflows into your business to deliver consistent and predictible results.  This allows the owners and management team to focus its energy on taking their business to the next level.

Personal Financial Management – Xenicus understands that many entrepreneurs are experts in their field – we work with some of the most talented physicians, engineers, and entrepreneurs who know their industries and are good at what they do.  However, frequently these same people are trying to manage their personal financial situation on their own, without solid guidance from financial professionals who are the best in THEIR field of expertise.  As we started working closely with our clients in their businesses, we saw that frequently their personal financial affairs were in further disarray than their business financial affairs.   Our team provides high level financial planning for entrepreneurs and small business owners to help ensure that their success in business translates into meeting their personal financial objectives.

We thought you’d never ask.  Mt. Xenicus is a relatively obscure mountain on the south Island of New Zealand along the Routeburn Track.  Named for a genus of small birds that live in the area, Mt. Xenicus was the site of a somewhat unplanned adventure for our founder Andrew Nachman during a university semester abroad.  It’s a long story, but let’s just say Mt. Xenicus proved stronger than Andrew on that given day, and since then, the name Xenicus has always portrayed strength to him.  In our company – Xenicus – our goal is to provide financial strength to our clients and help them manage their success.
